In Genesis 2:17 God said Adam could eat from any tree in the garden but not to eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, or you will surly die (referring to spirit).

In Genesis 2:17 God said Adam could eat from any tree in the garden but not to eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, or you will surly die (referring to spirit)….never said anything about fruit…then in Genesis 3:1-10 Satan twisted that to ask “Did God really say you can’t eat from any tree?, for you surly will not die, but become like Him knowing both good AND evil”. So right off the bat Satan twisted the scripture to mean a completely different thing….so what happened here? Eve consumed knowledge from a source apart from God….she took on her own moral autonomy….the ability to discern without God.
God said HE is the bread of life…and in every single book through we see lessons of God telling us to “deny ourselves” and come back to Him! That is to deny our own moral autonomy, and to consume Him (by reading His word) and get our knowledge from Him, not any other source.

Proverbs 3:1-10 outlines this perfectly, as does Psalm 1:1-5.

All we have to do is to go to God for our answers…depressed? Pray and read….anxious? Pray and read….need help with life in general? (how to adult, kids punishments, spouse problems etc) let go of trying to solve the issues on our own and to put it in Gods hands….that is to mean, consume the bread of life, not the bread of knowledge. Search the scriptures for guidance, he has covered just about everything that is essential to our salvation and everything we need to know.

Now that you have read this, I implore you ALL to read through the lens of “What is God teaching me here” in every passage and let Him teach you, for you only have 1 Father (Rabbl/teacher) who is in Heaven. And you only have one mediator.

Look at what God did, he sacrificed an animal and made clothing for them, the same way he covered us from our sins with his own body.
